When Jesus died on the cross, Jesus experienced hell in our place when He cried out ” My God, My God, Why have you forsaken Me.” Jesus explains what hell will be like in Matthew 13: 41-42, “The Son of Man will send out His angels and they will gather out of His Kingdom all those that offend, and all those who practice lawlessness. And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” (those who practice lawlessness, I worry about those who say that the four commandments are no longer part of God’s law.)
